Kenyan men have different tastes for women but it seems there are popular fields that most men would prefer when looking for a woman to call wife, a woman to sire children with and start a family together. If asked at random, different men will have different ladies in different fields who they think they can make good wives.
Kenya Trend has sampled different men in streets of Nairobi and each gave different answers when it came to the lady they would take home. From the group sampled is appears that Teachers and nurses top the list as the ladies being preferred as wives by Kenyan men the reason is that these jobs don’t expose the lady to the front a lot where she has to deal with many people. The income from these jobs is also very little so the lady will always be there to obey the head of the house. It’s true also these jobs end early and by 5pm the lady is back home to carry on with the house chores and take care of the children.

Men also sampled the fields that have a lot of divorces. The top three are the lawyers, politicians and journalists. Marrying a journalist is risking divorce to several men.These are jobs that put the lady in the forefront. Meet a lot of new people who she may end up copying what they do. The income is large and this automatically spoils the lady and becomes bad. She becomes a headache. She starts coming home late and the claims are that she is from the work place. It’s true that women who earn little money are easy to control from those who take home huge amount of cash home each end month. Men prefer careers that enable them monitor their wives well.
