Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto who is also council of Governors chairperson has come out to dismiss the allegations that have been leveled against him by EACC.Ruto stated that he is not corrupt and he will not resign to pave way for  investigation. Other Governors who have been mentioned in the EACC report are Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Meru Governor Peter Munya.

Isaac Ruto made a lengthy statement saying that all the cases leveled against him which includes how he spends the Bomet county funds are not true  and he said that he is very diligent  with his work. He said also that he don’t own a chopper. He categorically said that may be in future he would own a chopper or even a dreamliner.”Today instead of owning a chopper, it would be better for him to spend that  money on oil fields in Turkana because that will be a project that will be beneficial  to people of the whole nation”.EACC has also put allegation on me that I own a house that is worthy more than ksh 30 million here in the capital city.I have no idea where that house is situated and am ready to be shown by  the commission if they are ready.

They have also claimed that I own over 33 petrol stations that are here in Nairobi. This is very wrong.I own only a single gas station and I will be glad if the commission will be able to trace other stations that they are talking about.

Governor Isaac also continued to say that come 2017,Jubilee will be defeated  just like it has happened in Nigeria where the President Jonathan Goodluck was defeated by the opposition.Cord will taker over powers come next general election.
